Since 2010, Ms. Sara Greenberg has been involved with The Blue Card, playing a pivotal role in fundraising and raising awareness through both her participation in marathon races and other activities. As a grandchild of Holocaust survivors, she was immediately attracted to the Blue Card’s mission. Sara has worked with various non-proft organizations focused on Holocaust education and genocide prevention throughout her life.

In her fnal semester at Yale, as part of a project for a class by Dr. Ruth Westheimer entitled, “Family and the Jewish Tradition”, Ms. Greenberg produced B-2247: A Granddaughter’s Understanding . The flm was inspired by a family trip to the hometowns of her maternal grandparents, both of whom survived the Holocaust. Moved and appalled by what she saw, Sara was determined to share her grandparents’ story of survival with the rest of the world to ensure the stories of the Holocaust were never lost.

Sara is the daughter of Joel Greenberg and Marcy Gringlas. She has two siblings: Jackson, who wrote the music for B-2247: A Granddaughter’s Understanding , and Gabrielle.

Originally from Philadelphia, Sara is currently pursuing Master’s degrees in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and Business Administration from Harvard Business School. Ms. Greenberg’s extracurricular activities include serving on the leadership council for the Israel Caucus, sitting as a board member on Harvard Hillel and working as a teaching fellow and research assistant under Professor Martin Feldstein in the economics department of Harvard University. She completed her undergraduate studies at Yale, where she majored in economics, played on the varsity lacrosse team and interned at the Yale Investments Offce.
