On behalf of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, I send warm wishes to The Blue Card Team of runners in the 2013 New York City Marathon.

Founded in the Jewish community in 1934, The Blue Card offered assistance to those affected by the Nazi regime. Its mission in the United States is to support survivors through healthcare services, financial aid and daily resources. I commend all of the runners for your commitment to expanding this noble cause.

I thank The Blue Card for the incredible work you do to honor Holocaust survivors. Best wishes to the runners from Massachusetts and across the world for a successful race.
