Last summer, I organized a clothing drive to beneft The Blue Card as a community service project. I contacted various Jewish social service agencies in all the New York boroughs in order to coordinate a clothing donation effort. The drive was a successful and uplifting event with raffes, food, and live entertainment.

While working at The Blue Card, I focused on raising awareness of its mission. In the process, I was fortunate to establish meaningful friendships. Being in such a positive environment was a pleasure.

I originally joined The Blue Card to develop and enhance my public relations and communications skills. However, working with this great organization gave me something invaluable, an opportunity to give to a cause to which I feel strongly connected.
